Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

After a couple of months being away, I got back home to Terengganu and found that my youngest brother has OCD... Every night before he sleeps, he will always (ALWAYS) checks all the doors and windows in the house to make sure that they are already locked... and then double checks them... and if suddenly he felt uneasy, he will forcefully recheck again... It's kinda annoying...

One night, it was already late but I was still up watching movies on HBO when suddenly he got out of bed, and checked all the doors and windows... the windows in the living room, the back door, the main door... and then went to bed again...

I once read an article about OCD and it is a fact that OCDness comes out of fear... Fear of losing things, fear of being harmed, fear of being blamed and etc... I wonder what triggered my brother's OCDness... We never got robbed before... and he has never been harmed as far as I know... Maybe there's something I dont know about him...

OCD (in case u were wondering - Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) is an anxiety disorder... the symptoms are repetitive hand washing, aversion to odd numbers, opening and reclosing doors and etc (check out Wikipedia for more symptoms by clicking 'here')... basically all the repetitve doings... the acts of OCD may appear paranoid...

Well, not just my brother, my housemate, Ridhwan also have OCD... he was actually the one who first introduced me to this OCD stuff... and according to him, this 'disorder' is indeed a pain in the ass... like my brother, he always rechecks the doors to make sure that it's locked... and he also does other stuff...

My girlfriend is also an OCD... I noticed after I watched her packed and rearraged her stuff one day...

I think I'm a bit OCD too... at least a bit... Notice how I always end my sentences with three dots? haha... Is that considered OCD?

Ghetto like...

A few years back, all girls in Ketengah Jaya wore tudung... Well, at least most of them... but today, this morning, I was surprised to see a girl wearing hot pants and spaghetti t-shirt, riding a motorcycle, passing by in front of my house... I was like, wow... that's definitely a first...

Hanging out with my former school mates, we joked around and discussed about a lot of things and one of them was about how the social issues in Ketengah Jaya has become worse over these few years...

The youths are now rude, violent and most of them ride motorcycles like they have a death wish... Not to mention, the emergence of different (horrendous) styles and color of hair... Mohawk, mullets, punk, emo... You name it... Back then when I was still in school, the most dominant style was grunge where most youth preferred to look either like Kurt Cobain or Radhy OAG, but now I can see people looking like the boys from Tokio Hotel all around...

Drug problem still exist... Ketengah Jaya was once famous for making the front page of Utusan Malaysia regarding the air ketum issue... Hey, some locals were interviewed for the Majalah Tiga show if I was not mistaken... Heh...

and I think, last month, Ketengah Jaya rocked the front page of Harian Metro when a video about two school girls fighting in the school surau hit Youtube... Yeah... Cat fight!!

One of my friends told me that our former school that was once famous around Dungun district for being one of the top schools is now being labeled as one of the worse... The students are now literally gangsters, rempits and bohsias... Shit... What happened???

A few weeks ago, the residents of Kerteh 4 (one part of Ketengah Jaya - which is also where my house at) were shocked to hear about a murder... The one who got murdered was one of my shop's regular costumers and also one of my neighbors... He got stabbed at the stomach and was left to die in an isolated shack in Kemaman... The police described his death as a slow and painful one... The suspects and witnesses have gone missing... Motive?? most probably jealousy (fighting over a girl)...

A big ass police station is now under construction near the school... We were hoping that once the police station is built, the crime rates and social problem will be toned down... though we wondered, will we still be able to ride motorcycles without wearing safety helmets after that? Hahha...

Getting pregnant before marriage is now like a trend... Pfffttt... Are condoms that expensive?? Owh wait, there's no 7eleven here in KJ...

With all the ugly changes I see, I cant help to wish that I can reset civilization... Despite the development of science and technology, most humans are still savages... What's the difference between us now than the brute cavemen? Are we worthy to be called intelligent creatures?? I know most don't...

KJ used to be a peaceful and beautiful place that I loved :-(

Imaginasiku...

As I was rearranging some stuff of mine, I found my old Form 4 composition book... I browsed right through it and read some of the essays I've written in it... This one I liked the most...

[Ahmad, Ali and Abu are best friends. They like to travel and explore new places together. One day, they decided to.....]

Continue the sentence...

Ahmad, Ali and Abu are best friends... They like to travel and explore new places together... One day, they decided to explore the Bermuda Triangle... So, they rented a boat and sailed the Atlantic Sea to reach there... They knew that they were heading towards a very dangerous area... They heard stories about planes and boats gone missing after passing there, but they didnt care... They were prepared to die...

When they reached the Bermuda Triangle, they saw a giant tornado at the surface of the sea... They went to close and was sucked into the vortex... There was nothing that they could do... After a few minutes of spinning round and round, they fainted...

After a few hours, Abu was finally awake... He shook the others to wake them up... They went out of the boat and was surprised to see they were surrounded by many types of dinosaurs... They also saw many wrecked planes and ships... They concluded that the pilots, and passengers of those planes and ships had been eaten by the dinosaurs... They were scared... but what surprised them the most was Bermuda Triangle was actually an island... the giant tornado was like a wall of wind protecting the island from people...

Suddenly, a t-rex came close to the boat and stared at them... It looked hungry... Ahmad, Ali and Abu ran away from the t-rex... The t-rex chased them... They ran and ran and ran until they found a submarine... The giant tornado must had blown it onto the islamd... They went inside and fired the submarine's homing torpedos... They killed the t-rex...

They then found a cool jet... They started the engines and flew into the wall of the tornado... they went through it and made it out safely... They then became rich because of the fact that they were the first survivors of the Bermuda Triangle and everyone wanted to write their story...

The end...

I got an 'A' for this essay... My teacher commented - "You have a wild imagination... Everybody wrote about Langkawi, Taman Negara, and etc... but you wrote about The Bermuda Triangle..."

When rabbits attack

I was browsing through rabbit pictures (well, I actually Googled for 'Can rabbits kill a human' and 'Rabbit attack cases') when I came across this... On April 20, 1979, the US President at that time, Jimmy Carter, reported being attacked by a swimming killer rabbit... (BAHHAHAHAHUIHUI! LOL) Could it be that a bunch of terrorists biologically engineered the rabbit to become a fearful hitman?

*Image of the rabbit*

Anyway, here's a collection of bad ass rabbit pictures that I found on the net...

BOXING!!

TONIGHT, WE DINE IN HELL!!!

there's a video on Youtube on a rabbit fighting a snake...

and this is a quote from here

“Many people are not aware of the physical capabilities of rabbits. We’ve been testing an elite group of rabbits in drug detection, track-and-search, and attack and containment, and we’ve been very surprised by the results. They’re cheaper to run and can fit on your lap - so we don't need big vans.”

Prince of Persia

It's hard for me to dislike this movie... I like it... certainly I felt it is better than Clash of the Titans (2010)... Why do I like it? Well, I guess it's a fun movie to watch... Most probably because of the jokes and clever lines... and the action parts were not lame... Parkour is very entertaining to watch... Whoever thought Jake Gyllenhaal who played ex-convict in the movie Brothers could do such stunts? He indeed buffed himself and train hard for the act... Who cares if he's not Persian or from Middle East... He was paid to act as Prince of Persia and he did quite well...

Although the plot was a journey kind of plot, it's pace was not too fast and not too slow... the movie Clash of the Titans which plot was so rushed, I didnt enjoy it a bit... Hmm... Why do I keep comparing Prince of Persia with Clash of the Titans?? Probably because the place settings for both movies are almost the same...

Yeah Alief, Gemma Arterton (Princess Tamima) also played Io in Clash of the Titans...

and Alvin, u got a point there, the Persians in this movie were really different from what being described in Gerard Butler's movie, 300...

Dont u think it's weird how all characters talk using British accent? Jake Gyllenhaal is not even British...

Anyway, I'm anticipating...

North Korea

Did you know that North Korea has the world's 4th largest army? Yeah, at about 1.1 Million active soldiers... China has the largest army with 2,255,000 soldiers, US is at second place with 1,473,900 soldiers and the third world largest army falls to India!! with 1,414,000 soldiers!! Malaysia?? Urmm... 110, 000 active soldiers... Not bad huh?

It is estimated that N Korea has 5000 tons of biological and chemical weapon...

and also 10 nuclear weapons... Yeah, only 10... While Russia has 12000 nukes!! and US has 9400!!

Hmm... What's crazy in N Korea? Citizens have the right to vote at age 17... but there's only one party to vote for... What's the point???

The state runs re-education camps to hold as many as 50,000 political prisoners guilty of crimes...

Public executions take place at stadiums in front of thousands of spectators... You may be executed for making an international phone call and hoarding food... around 700,000 to 3,500,000 people have been executed by North Korean government... Damn...

No freedom of religion!! you can be executed distributing bibles...

No freedom of press!! mass media is for distributing the government's propaganda...

No freedom at all!! Oil and fuel are reserved only for the political elites...

Kim Jong-Il is like God in North Korea... worst than Ayah Pin... He was born in the Soviet Union on Feb 16, 1941... He's actually not the official president of the country... His dead father declared him as the "ETERNAL PRESIDENT" before he died...

Urmm... his official biography says he was born on sacred Baektul Mountain under a double rainbow... (What fantasy he has...) and he doesnt defecate or urinate like normal people... (Which is kinda insane) For his first golf game, official reports say he got 11 holes in one and 38 under par... (He should go pro...)

He planned to solve hunger in North Korea by breeding giant rabbits... (I wonder how that turns out...)

He was once the world's single largest buyer of Hennessy, importing $700,000 worth per year... Hehe... workers inspect every grain of rice he eats to ensure exact size and color...

He injects himself with blood of virgins to stay young... (again, I wonder how that turns out... North Korean Edward Cullen huh?)

Citizens are told he and his father created the world and control the weather... Krik krik krik...

At 5'3", he hates being short so much, he sends all short people in Pyongyang to an uninhabited islands so their shortness wouldnt infect future generations...

So, for World Cup 2010, are we rooting for North Korea or not?? Yeah!! North Korea DPR is in the same group with Brazil, Ivory Coast and Portugal!! Yeah!! Good luck...

T-shirt with words 2

I was wearing my "Dont Look at Me" t-shirt while walking pass Jonker Street to Dataran Pahlawan when suddenly a foreigner stopped me...

"Why can't I look at you?"

"Erk... because I'm shy..."

"Hahaha!! That's interesting..."

and then after walking a few meters more, another foreigner came

"I'm looking at you now... Are you offended by it?"

"Yes, really offended..." I replied with a huge smile...

"Haha... Nice t-shirt by the way"

"Thanks" :-)

After that, a few minutes before reaching the entrance of the Dataran Pahlawan (or rather, the entrance to Brands Outlet), an old man came to me and stared at my t-shirt really hard... He was giving me the I'm-staring-at-you-no-matter-what look...

That shirt really attracts attention...

T-shirt with words

Earlier today, as I was folding some shirts near the entrance of FOS, I saw a girl wearing a t-shirt that says "Dont think, just choose me"...

It got me thinking, that girl would be in deep trouble if being stuck in a hostage situation... "Robert!! Pick a hostage!! I wanna show these cops that we're damn serious about blowing heads off if we dont get a getaway soon!!"... so, who do u think Robert would choose to be the first one to be shot? "Okey boss... Hmm... Dont blame me girl... U asked for it..." BLAMM!! Splattt! (Blood splattered)

T-shirts with words are fun huh?

What does your shirt say?
