Owh... Crap...

Taking my shirt off to take a shower, something crossed my mind... Whoever invented the toilet was a brilliant man... (well, I assumed that it is a man... because most probably women are decent enough to thing of something as crappy as stuff involving shit...)

Seriously, if toilets were not invented, we would still be pissing and shitting by the river... Imagine having to go to the nearest river just to do some shitty business... Water pollution will be going up to another level then... Dang... but, on second thought, maybe it will make the river richer and the fishes fatter... The plants beside the rivers will be having free fertilizers... with no toxic... but the smell will be toxic for sure...

blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com

and what about privacy??

So, who really invented one of the most useful device known to mankind? It was Sir John Harrington, a noble Englishman... (see, he is a man...) Find out more about the origins of the toilet here... Apparently, reading this article, I found that many thought Thomas Crapper (a plumber) created the toilet... I guess the word "Crap" came from this Crapper guy huh?

Thanks to Sir Harrington, we can enjoy doing our private business in the comfort of our own toilet... Ahhhh~

Boy I wish writing research proposals is as easy as writing this entry... blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com

Here are some pictures of strange toilets... For enlightenment purposes...

"Ahhh~ what a view~~"

Dare to pee?

What did I tell u about men inventing toilets?

I hope there wont be any shark staring while I'm doing my thing...

Again, dare to pee?

Kubu Updates...

First:
Yesterday morning, the sound of a door being opened woke me up from my beauty sleep... the sound came from the house in front of my house... Then, after a few minutes, I heard the door being shut again... The auntie living in front of my house is rather mysterious... My fellow housemates said that she is a teacher... For the past 2 and a half years I've been living in Kubu, I've only met her two to three times... Her glass sliding door is often slightly opened... Yet, her house is always dark during night time... Ridhwan suspected she had murdered her husband and keep the body inside a freezer in that house...

blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com

Second:
The Chinese guy living on the second floor is torturing his pet dog... I often heard the dog barking in pain as that Chinese guy keeps yelling in Chinese... there was one day when Alief and I saw the dog moaning in pain as it was left outside in the scorching sun on the balcony...

Animal cruelty!
blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com
I think that guy also beat up his girlfriend/wife who is living together with him as I sometimes hear the girl crying for help... How can I report this??

Third:
blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com
We have new neighbors... A family moved into the house on the first floor a few days ago... Someone died in that house a few years back... Natural death I think...

Fourth:
Our house is a little bit cleaner :-P

Movies 2010

Thailand rocked the film industry with it's traditional Muay Thai kick boxing through the movie Ong Bak... Now Indonesia is introducing Silat to the world... Malaysia bila lagi? The title is "Merantau"

Superheroes with no powers... but they sure can kick ass... Especially Hit-Girl

Fight against the gods... You can see Medusa's head on the poster...

Aniston and Butler... Two strong reasons to not to miss this movie...

The movie Taken impressed me... So I expect more from this movie... John Travolta will be rocking this one!!

You've played the game... Now watch the fight in this live action movie...

Dont you think there are too many vampire movies lately?

Cool 3D effects...

Sarah Jessica Parker... I predicted there will be lots of Prada, LV, and Chanel...

More action...

Try comparing this with Harry Porter...

Damn cool effects and action...

Will Shrek finally get an ultimate happy ending?

Go watch the trailers on Youtube.com...

So, which ones u anticipate the most?

Did I leave out something??

Why dont u just buy the original DVD??

For months, I've been trying to download the Terminator Salvation movie... I've watched it in the cinema once, but I couldn't get enough of the action scenes, so I decided to download and watch it in my laptop...

The first time I downloaded it, it turned out to be porn... The title was Terminator Salvation, but when I opened the file, I got to see blowjobs and some humping scenes (with a variety of positions and styles)... I was like, "Why would you want to name the porn video "Terminator Salvation"?? The fake role plays that come before the fucking have nothing to do with robots at all!!" ...

The second time I downloaded the movie, it turned out to be the movie Gran Torino... A really boring movie that I only watch for 10 minutes... and again, "If the movie is Gran Torino, why would you name the file Terminator Salvation!??"

Third time, it was another porn... The porn stars were ugly... Yes, I did watch it...

Then, finally, it was the right movie... but the quality was depressing... Totally blur and the video kept shaking... So, I delete the file after 5 minutes...

Next, a lesbian porn... the porn stars were ugly too...

I did think of just buying the pirated DVDs in Ocean... but I cant stand blurry pictures and unclear sound... So, I kept on the effort of downloading it... Original DVDs? Far too expensive... I'm not rich...

I dont know how many times I tried, but finally today, I successfully downloaded the right movie... It was satisfying to see John Connor kicked some robot ass... :-P

Cant wait for the sequel...

It's funny how I didnt have any problem downloading other movies like Law Abiding Citizen, Anti-Christ and The Ugly Truth... What's up with Terminator and porn?

Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas to all my Christian friends especially Alvin, Kath, Canne and Noel... Have a wonderful holiday with your family :-D
May you all have your wishes granted...

Hmm...
I have been thinking...
Christian kids in Malaysia must have a hard time believing in Santa... because Malaysian homes have no chimneys... How would Santa come in into the house? Santa cannot come in from the front door... He might as well ring the bell if he does... Hmm, poor kids...

If I got to celebrate Christmas, I would ask Santa for a cinema hall... and a cool motorbike...
"Dear Santa, I want a cinema hall for Christmas... I want to watch my movies with a gigantic screen and big speakers... Thank you... You dont have to wrap it up... "

:-P

by the way, the girl in the picture is Leah Dizon... She's hot...

Happy holidays!! HO HO HO...

Avatar, amazing...

The movie Avatar was indeed remarkable... The most powerful element of the movie is the computer generated images used... Not just the 3D animations look real but they were perfectly fused with the non-computer generated images... Every aspect of the movie was in details... no wonder they took almost a decade to finish the movie...

I regretted not watching it in 3D...

Mr Wall

It was raining heavily outside... Sitting on a torn mattress, leaning his back against the wall in the living room, Fahmi stared at the raindrops on the glass sliding doors... He watched the drops dropped slowly leaving short traces of water on the tinted glass...

The wall spoke to him... Woke him up from his sleep... Telling him how much alike they are... Him and the wall... They are alike... Silent yet existing... Ignored but noticeable...

But no, Fahmi said... No, dear solid wall... We are different... I breathe air... You dont breathe...

The wall replied... I do breathe... Though solid I am, I have cracks... If you put your face against me, you will feel... though barely, you will feel... Feel a slight friction... Friction between your skin and the air...

Really? Fahmi disagreed in his mind... He didnt see any crack on the wall's surface... nor did he feel any slight friction as he lay his left cheek against them...

With his cheek still attached, he whispered... Wall, wall, oh solid wall... you're lying... Urghh!!

Before he could finish his sentence, the wall cracked... Fahmi pulled his cheek away and backed off...

The crack started from the point where his cheek met with the surface and slowly spread horizontally forming a straight, crooked line... The crack stopped a few millimeters from the door frame...

Now he felt it... Now he felt the friction... The friction between his skin and the air as the crack started to open and forming a big mouth-shaped hole on the wall, letting the wind from outside in...

I breathe... I breathe....... I breathe........... The wall spoke... Its voice echoed and got louder and louder... The wind coming from the hole got stronger and stronger...

No!!! Wall, wall, oh solid wall!! Stop breathing!! or you'll form a miniature cyclone in this living room!!

I breathe...... I BREATHE!!! I BREATHEEE!!! I BREATHHEEEHEEEHHEHEHE!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHHHHAAA!!!!

:-D

Kau memang suka berangan kan?

Sometimes when I just lie down on my bed, staring at the walls and ceiling, I would wish that I had a lot of money... People would say that money cant buy you happiness... Well, they can go to hell... at least it will get me out of here... out of being ordinary... out into the world of wonders... far away from boredom...

If I have money, the first thing I would do is to buy a cool motorcycle... I'm not talking about those damn bulky ones... look at me, I'm as thin as a plank... tak larat nak angkat nanti...

Then, I want to send my parents to Mekah... Seriously, even though I'm their son, I hate to ask money from them... the money they had spent to send me to school, to feed me, to send me to the university... if they are put together, it will be enough to buy them a new bungalow... I'm in debt with my parents, and I want to pay them soon... Cepat la habis belajar!!!

After that, I want to catch up with life... I want to go sky diving and touch the clouds with my bare hands... I want to do bungee jumping and feel the blood rushing through my veins into my brains... I want to go to Hawaii and experience Eden... I want to be a National Geographic part time photographer... I want to try out an AK-47... learn jujitsu...

I hate to think that everyone is out there, while I'm in here, missing all the fun... just because I'm poor...

I hate to think that all those rich people are out there doing nothing when there are so many things they can and should do (especially that guy with the yellow Cellica... I'm not sure I spelled Cellica right but whatever)...

People would say, you'll get there... Damn I will... but maybe when I really did get there, I will be forgetting these dream... Maybe when I get there, I wont be thinking of sky diving but instead I will be thinking of taxes to pay, bills to sort out, kids to feed... maybe I will forget how to be young...

People would say, you should be thankful, at least you have a roof on your head, enough food to eat... but I guess it's human nature to be greedy... to yearn things that they cant have... Humans will always try to go further...

But in the end... still staring at the walls and ceiling, I would say to myself, "Kau memang suka berangan kan?"

Hmm... well, it's better than being empty and dreamless...

dreamless...

Me and movies...

I really love watching movies...

I watched Couple's Retreat two times... First with Ridhwan and Alief and second with my girl... I like the movie because it showed about the real problems that married couples have to deal with in life... It showed how couples somehow forget how to have fun with each other after a few years of marriage and when their children appeared into their world... how couples just forget how to communicate with each other... the ending was rather sweet... Yeah, I would love to sit by the waterfall with my girl, talking about simple yet meaningful stuff... The movie was also quite funny especially the part in the scene with Salvadore (the Yoga instructor)... The place setting of the movie was extremely beautiful... Blue, clear water... Waterfalls... Clean beaches... it was the closest to heaven...

Tonight, I watched Storm Warriors II with Alief... despite having quite a number of people telling me that it was not good, I went to watch the movie with enthusiasm... Most probably because I've been reading the comic books (Pedang Setiawan) since I was six years old... Yeah, from I was six years old until now, Pedang Setiawan has never shown any signs of an ending... The chapters have reached hundreds... Honestly, I really loved the movie... The effects were grand... just like in the comic books... It was like reading the comics in motion picture... Nevertheless, I anticipated a sequel... There's no way Penjejak Awan would die!! He lives until today in the comic books... and Aties Kuntum is not dead yet... :-D

Lastly, I've just finished watching 500 Days of Summer in my laptop (thanks Ridhwan)... I love Zooey Deschanel :-) but I was really frustrated with the ending... because I saw me in Tom... Shit!! Why does Summer has to be married with someone else??? I hate it... It was really sweet in the beginning but heart breaking towards the end... Although Tom met Autumn in the end but the frustration in my heart stayed... :-((

I wish I can own a cinema hall...

VC Cup...

VC Cup was finally over and I supposedly can work on my research proposal... Well, supposedly...

VC Cup went well, though not smoothly... We had a few glitches but the whole event went according to plan...

Quite a number of participants said that this year's VC Cup was the best ever... Most probably because it was held in Kampus BANDARAYA Melaka (KBM) where after the training and debate tournaments, they could loose themselves up by partying all night long in the nearest clubs and party houses... These debaters sure know how to partay~

I was one the organizing committee where I got to handle the preparation of food for the whole tournament... It was supposed to be a piece of cake for me... Well, how hard could it be? All I had to do were to deal with the caterer and make sure the food is ready on time... But it turned out to be quite stressful...

The food was horrible...

and I had to deal with hundreds of complaints from everyone...

"Makanan tak sedap!!"
"Tak cukup garam..."
"Lauk sedikit"
"Makanan tak cukup!"
"Kuah takde..."
"Mana sudu dan garfu??"

Yeah, I had a few burn marks...

En Ramli from HEP said to me that the food is highlight of every event... If the food sucks, the event sucks... which is quite true and added the pressure in me...

I had a few flashbacks of what Mdm Suja said during ICELT, "Food is very crucial to Malaysians... If you dont give them food, they wont go to work..."

In the future, I dont want to be in charge of food preparations again if the ones preparing the food is the RBH Catering... Though the boss, En Roslee claimed that RBH made the most profit comparing to other caterers in Kampus Alor Gajah, but honestly, RBH is not that good comparing Makcik Soto in MARA...

Haih~~

During the English Debate finals, I felt very frustrated because Fina and Noel didnt win... my heart spoke, "After all that hardwork, we didnt win??"

Fina was totally awesome... while she was giving her speech, I was busy analyzing her words and sentences... Her speech was fantastic... I had a strong belief that she would win...

Fina, in my heart, honestly you won...

I also felt bad because Alief was forced to pull out from public speaking... He was good...

All in all, all KBM teams did a great job... We had our inexperienced debaters overpowering experienced ones... The runners were great... Without them, VC Cup would not be so great...

I had fun getting to know Rosal and Shariha and Bobo... :-D

GIANT vs MYDIN

It is always amusing for me to watch my younger brothers argue among themselves about the silliest things...

On the way to grandma's, we passed by Mydin Mall and Giant...

Aizat: Yang mana lagi best? Mydin atau Giant?

Faiz: Mestilah Mydin...

Aizat: Mydin lagi best dari Giant

Faiz: tapi tak tahu jugak sebab kita jarang pergi Giant

Aizat: tak, Mydin lagi best sebab ada jual CD PS2

Faiz: Giant pun ada jual CD

Aizat: Tapi takde CD PS2

Faiz: Giant boleh buli Mydin sebab dia Giant

Aizat: Macammana Giant nak buli Mydin? Giant selalu buli Nobita dan Doraemon...

Faiz: Mydin lagi murah

Aizat: Macammana nak tahu? Kita kan jarang pergi Giant

Faiz: Mydin Mall lagi besar, jadi dia lagi best

Aizat: Kalau Mydin lagi besar, Giant dah tak boleh dipanggil Giant dah...

Faiz: Mydin buli Giant pulak

Me: Wargghhahahahahahahaha!!! God!! Enough u two!! You are making me nuts with all your nonsense!!!

Aizat and Faiz: Giant mengamuk!!!

Aizat is the one who got 5A's for UPSR and Faiz is the one taking SPM this year...

Rain

After about 2 weeks ++ being in Terengganu, I am now in Melaka again... It feels weird because there is no rain in Melaka... in Terengganu, the rain poured for 24 hours for days and it was damn cold, a drop of water felt like a sharp razor slicing through the skin... Taking a shower was like committing a horrible suicide...

Well, I love the rain, but when u have to much of rain, u cannot help to be flooded... Flooded with sleepiness and excessive coldness...

Speaking of rain, I watched Ninja Assassin with Alief on Friday... I have the urge to watch the movie after seeing how hard Rain trained himself just to play the role of a deadly ninja assassin... 8 months of muscle building, weapon training and parkour... plus, the makers of The Matrix Trilogy made the movie, so I expected it to be interesting...

It was a cool movie! Ninjas fighting each other to seek revenge and freedom... I like the visual effects of ninja appearing from the shadows and then disappears into thin air... Cool weapons (shuriken, katanas, chains)... however, the story line was kinda simple... I expected more twists as the guys from Matrix were involved... and the visual effects were not as grand as the ones from The Matrix Trilogy... less shaky camera views could also help to make it better...

Hiyya!!

Ketengah Jaya...

Tomorrow I'll be leaving Melaka and go straight to Ketengah Jaya... I dont feel like leaving but I dont wanna stay either... But I have to go home... or else I'll be eating nothing but dust...

It's ironic... A few years ago I was riding my motorcycle thinking that I would never ever leave this Felda... With bushes on my right and palm trees on my left, I let the wind blew through my hair as I watched how beautiful the hills were from far... Ketengah Jaya, what a beautiful place... I wished I would never leave here... but as soon as I got out, I was reluctant to come back... there's more freedom outside...

Outside, there are no house chores, no annoying addicts bugging me around...
Outside, there are friends, my girlfriend, cinemas, shopping malls...

Maybe I'm starting to 'lupa diri'... heh~

No matter what I feel, I'm still hopping into that bus tomorrow... Maybe I do need a little break from freedom and go back to family...

Sigh...

P/S - my brother got 5A's for UPSR...

November 16, 2009

Sorry for the F letter words...

All I can think about now are curses... Fuck, Damn, MotherFucker, Asshole... All curses... (Pardon me for the foul words)...

A few years ago, I slapped my younger brother in the face for saying a single "Fuck"... He picked it up on movies... I never utter a single foul word until I got into Lendu... gradually, those words manifested inside my brain and now they have become a part of my thinking...

Every time I ran into trouble, I say Damn... Every time I see something unusual, I say Fuck... Every time I see extremely cute girls, I say Damn... What has happened to me...?

I blamed my environment... Before entering Lendu, I was the most innocent guy any Lenduer ever met... but now I've blended in... I'm uttering all those foul words with ease... no more worrying about Mommy slapping me to the ground or rubbing my lips with chili...

I guess cursing could be considered as a cool thing especially for a youth like me... I see all the movies where the heroes curse their enemies while gunning them to the ground... Fuck you monsters!! Die!! Die!! Damn cool...

Sigh...

How life can be so fucking ironic... When u strive so hard to keep something from slipping through your hands, others seem to be able to take it away from you with ease... Fuck life for that... Shit happens huh?

Luckily for me, I still remember how to say the Shahadah... there are some times where I'm so afraid of forgetting the name of Allah, I could not even sleep... with all of the foul words jumbled up in a pile inside, there is still a place where Allah's name is written on the wall of my brain... Thank God for that...

Allah, show me the way... Please...

Mr Frogs... Mr Owl...

Feeling lonely, I cycle my way back home into the gloomy night... the rain had just stopped so the road was dense and wet... I could hear bullfrogs croaking, asking for more rain... No, Mr. Frogs... not now... not until I reach home... An owl passed by up above the dark sky... it's white feathers were contrasting to the night sky so I could see it clearly soaring above me, searching for prey... Mr. Owl... you're giving me the creeps...

The road was empty... and I felt very lonely... I wished there are vehicles passing by indicating that I was not alone after all... but none came...

Then, it went even more silent as the frogs stopped their singing... Mr. Frogs, given up already? hehe...

"mengapa senyum seorang diri?"

My heart seemed to stop for a few seconds as all of a sudden, a beautiful voice struck my ears... Automatically, I glanced back and forth, searching for the owner of such soft and lovely voice... Crap... no one's here... that could not be good...

Enough with this thinking of poetry words describing this scene... I gotta go fast... Cycle!! Cycle Fahmi!! Cycle!!

And there it was... up ahead in front of me... About 10 meters away... A woman in white staring at me with a smile... Should I turn back?? Should I go straight??

I went straight... Dumb decision... Even dumber? I took a glance at 'her' as I passed by... Like an owl, 'she' turned her head 360 degrees... if this is a horror movie, then this would be only the beginning of the haunting... maybe 'she' would follow me home... What could be worse? She's may be hitchhiking my bike...

Allahuakbar... Allahuakbar...

Cis Fahmi... time susah baru kau nak ingat tuhan kan?

The worse thing I could ever think of was 'she' brushing my hair with her hands while I was cycling as fast as 60 km/h...

No Fahmi, you have to be optimistic... Maybe she was just an illusion... I hit the brakes and turned back to take another glance at 'her'... and all I could see was Mr. Owl...

Smile~

I guess the concept of "The customer is always right" is not relevant in Malaysia... or at least in most of the shops I've entered so far...

Patisfrance in Gajah Berang - With a frown on her face, the cashier just throw my change onto the counter... So rude...

Parkson's Perfume section in Mahkota Parade - Everytime I enter the section, the salespersons always gave me a very judgmental look... instead, when a guy wearing a suit came in, he instantly got served with a big fake smile... Judgmental bitches...

Quayside restaurant - Alvin, my girl, kakak and I went to that place since kakak havent had her dinner yet... The waiter was kinda rude... no smiles at all and he seemed a little bit arrogant and lazy...

A&W Dataran Pahlawan and Melaka Sentral - I never want to enter A&W again because the service sucks...

and etc...

When I enter any kind of shop, I would expect a kind and good service... or at least a smile indicating that I'm welcomed... Besides, if I get a good service, I would definitely come again and bring my friends along...

Without us customers, there will be no sale...

Kalau taknak kerja, duduk rumah...

Me : Abah, tolong bank-in duit sikit... Tak kisah la berapa...

Abah : Hari Ahad ni Abah bank-in...

Me : Ahad? Ahad kan cuti...

Abah : Terengganu tak cuti hari Ahad... Cuti Jumaat dan Sabtu je...

Me : Owh! Lupa pulak... Thank you Abah

Abah : No prob

Dah lama rupanya aku tak balik Terengganu...

Movies and Movies

Went to watch a midnight show of "Phobia 2" with my girl, her sister and Alvin on Friday... This movie is consisting of 5 short horror movies and the last one is always the best... Yup, the fifth one made the movie worth watching... Very funny!! If you have watched the prequel of the movie, "4bia", you would expect that the last story of "Phobia 2" would be the most terrifying... but it turned out to be hilarious... we laughed so hard that our eyes were in tears... Overall, it's a good horror movie... :-P

Then, yesterday, I went to see "The Fourth Kind" with Alvin... The things that attracted me to see this movie was that it was based on actual case studies (which means that it's a true story) and Milla Jovovich... It was actually a documentary on a study done by Dr. Abigael Tyler on the strange phenomenon that has been happening to the people of Nome, Alaska... The residences have been having trouble sleeping and they kept saying that the thing that has been interrupting them every night was an owl by their windows... The owl seemed to do nothing but stared... Stared deeply into their eyes and they couldn't do anything about it... But as they remember more of the owl, they realized that it was not an owl... It was something else...

The movie felt real because actual audio and video recordings of events were shown... it was rather disturbing...

Alien abduction... Dr. Abigael claimed that the people of Nome were having alien encounters where thousands have been missing, including her daughter, Ashley and more were traumatized by the memories of being abducted... An actual video of a man killing his whole family before killing himself as a result of being traumatized was shown... Very brutal... The most disturbing part was when the aliens tried to warn Dr Abigael to not to expose their existence to the world through a man's body...

Though Dr. Abigael supported her study with audio and video recordings, but the study has not been accepted by people because

- the part in the video where aliens came were distorted though only the voice was heard
- Dr. Abigael was depressed of her husband's death and this may resulted to hallucination...
- Aliens? There was no concrete proof that they exist...

If you're interested in aliens, go watch... in the end, it's up to you to believe or not...

By the way, some people are just too stupid to realize that they are not supposed to have a little chat in the cinema... Wayang bukan tempat bergosip...

Of bowling, cakes, and MJ...

Pictures relating to my previous post...

November 5, 2009

MJ, why do you have to die...

Went out dating with my girl yesterday... we have bought tickets to see MJ's This is it last week and looking at the positive feedback regarding the movie, we were kinda eager to see it...

But before we hit the cinema, we went bowling in Mahkota Parade~ My girl has this new obsession towards bowling... I have to say that I kinda suck in bowling... Got a few strikes but mostly I hit the drain (longkang)... Since that was the third time I ever played bowling, so I guess that's not bad :-P Played four games of bowling... Thumb is now numb...

After bowling, we went to Secret Recipe since my girl have been craving for cakes for days... We had a slice of Chocolate Banana and a slice of Chocolate Strawberry and two cups of organic tea... The teas were free with the purchase of those cakes since it was already 3 PM... The cakes were heaven... I just hope that the taste just stay in my mouth because it was totally delicious... Once I put it in my mouth, the taste of chocolate mixed with a bit of strawberry filling sent me flying to seven heaven... I could even see imaginary doves flying into the air... Ahhh~~ I'm craving for more...

Then, we went to watch MJ!! I confess that I was not an MJ fan, but after watching This is it, I felt like singing to his tune again and again and again... The songs just stuck to my head and for the first time I wished I could dance like Micheal... Through out the movie I wished I could just stand up and sing along... But since everyone was so quiet, I just let out a few UUu!! Aww! and clapped slowly sometimes... The tune of Billy Jean stimulated me the most... I felt very excited watching MJ dance to the beat... Man, I wished I go and see MJ live... I would be a blast!! The girl guitarist was awesomely cool... The back up dancers were great... The crew... Everyone involved was totally great... MJ, the true legend...

Two thumbs up!

Lastly, we went for dinner at Johny's... We had a steamboat set for one person, tomyam beehun and BBQ chicken rice... Yummy Yummy~ not to forget some ice cream for dessert~

We had fun!!

:-D

Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs

Alief was feeling a bit tense because of the exam
so we went to
watch Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs...

If you're watching this, the moment you enter the cinema hall
leave all of your logical thinking and your adult ways of thinking outside
because the movie is all about the realization of extreme imagination

A device which creates a rain of food?
Whats so logical about that?

Once you have left those two elements outside the cinema
and turn on your childishness
you will sure enjoy the movie

because it is damn funny

The script was well made (many brilliant lines were included)
Good story line
the 3D effects are awesome!!

For the sake of laughter, it is a good animation

October 28, 2009

This is it

I bought 2 tickets to Micheal Jackson's "This is it"
and now I'm wondering...
the movie is a concert right?
so I'll be watching it in a cinema

watching a concert in a cinema

should I watch it in silence like watching any other movies
or can I give up standing ovations, clap my hands, etc like watching any other concerts?

Hmm... to think about it
I've never been to a concert before
though I really want to...

October 27, 2009

Basterds!

On Saturday, I went to watch Inglorious Basterds with Alvin...

I have to say that it was damn great!!
Not because of Brad Pitt but because the movie was very well made...

Totally classic and funny
The picture
The sound
It's like watching an old war movie with a good picture

It's a long movie
but I didnt feel bored at all because there was plenty of suspense

Go and watch it!!

"The Bear Jew", "Aldo the Apache", "The Jew Hunter"

Hahaha :-D

October 24, 2009

Sorority Row

Hot bitches + cool murder weapon + the worse ways to die

I hate a good thriller

October 21, 2009

Declaration of War...

At an end of a zebra crossing,
Alvin, Alief and I waited for the light to turn red so we could cross the road...
While waiting, we managed to joke around a bit,
had a couple of laughs like we often do
though the day in campus was rather tiring...

Then, from a distance, I saw a white Kancil coming our way...
In split seconds, I took a glance at the plate number... WRS xxxx...
Hmm... macam kereta Meor je... I thought to myself...

From the plate number, I shifted my sight to the person driving the Kancil...
Yup, memang Meor... Nilam pun ada...

I thought of smiling at them if they notice me...
but...
as the white Kancil passed by in front of us...
the driver of the Kancil,
Meor
flicked his middle finger
to us...

Babi betul...

October 14, 2009

Tak sengaja...

The Bangla workers must have been doing a great job cleaning up the floors in Dataran Pahlawan...

I was waiting for Alief and Alvin outside Carrefoure on a bench with Tony... We just finished 4 hours of karaoke that time... As I was looking down to the floor, a Chinese girl passed by in front of me... Accidentally, since she was wearing a very short skirt, I noticed that she was wearing a pink underwear from the reflection of the tiled floor... :-P

Then, I removed my sight from the floor in order to avoid similar happening... but as shifted my sight to the Carrefoure's ice cream booth, a tourist walked passed me... she was wearing an extremely short skirt and I, again accidentally, saw her knickers from the floor reflection... it was red...

Moral of the story... Dont wear short skirts in extremely clean floored malls... unless u really want to show what u got...

Curi maggie...

This happened a few years back...

The morning was peaceful as all of the school kids were in school and all of the rempits were at work... There were only the sounds of the trees brushing each other as being tagged by the cold morning wind... I was looking after dad's kedai runcit and was checking the expiry dates of milks and drinks... But never bother to wipe the dust out of the shelves like mom ordered me to...

As I was checking the last can of drink, I heard something...

I directed my sight into the direction of the source of the sound... The window... There was a hand reaching out from the window... A hairy hand...

The hand was reaching a pack of instant noodles, "Maggie"... But the hand didnt have eyes, so I could see that it was rubbing the wall and the dusted shelves for a few minutes until it could grab a few packets of Maggie...

Then slowly the hand retreated from the window with two packs of Maggie...

A few seconds after the hand had disappear from the window, it came back... two packets of Maggie was not enough to satisfy it...

and that was the time I decided to find out whom did the hand belong to... I went outside and slowly peek to the side of the kedai... Well oh well, it was John (bukan nama sebenar...)... He was too focus on grabbing a few more packets of Maggie, he didnt even realize I was standing a few meters from him, watching...

"John, kalau masuk dalam kedai kan lagi senang nak ambil Maggie tu...", I said...

He was shocked... and ran... terkontang kanting dia lari... peluk Maggie...

I told my dad about it and my dad told John's parents... and John got beaten by his big brother... The end...

p/s- I recalled this incident when I tried to think about my past experience with thieves... This is nothing compared to the girls... Be strong girls!! Glad that u're okey~

The Gamer...

Craving for some action movie (because I couldn't download Terminator Salvation), I was kinda excited to watch "The Gamer"... Gerard Butler was also the reason I was eager to watch it (300 was one of my favorites)... The movie certainly was full with action and mind blowing special effects... with blood splatters, chunks of meat flying around, The Gamer was the most brutal movie I've ever seen so far this year (besides District 9)... Totally not suitable for under 18s... I loved the video-game like camera view... It's like watching someone playing a game of extreme Counter Strike... I dislike the ending though (anti-climax)... I think it should end with a bang or a boom...

All of this years I have been imagining about a new evolution of gaming and The Gamer has brought my imagination to life...

Interactive screens, gaming without remote controls and joysticks and extreme 3D images... Wow... I'm looking forward to what the future will bring into the world of gaming...
